Maddie Hill
Registered Physiotherapist

After enjoying a successful professional soccer career in Europe, Maddie has switched teams to become the newest qualified physiotherapist at Kings Cross. Maddie is an exceptionally positive, compassionate, and encouraging therapist who goes above and beyond for her patients. Her desire to provide cutting edge care has led her to undertake a PhD investigating motor control patterns in athletes after ACL surgery.

Originally from Brampton, she graduated from the University of Maine after receiving a soccer scholarship and playing in the NCAA Division 1. She then went to England to study Physiotherapy at Northumbria University. While in England she played professional soccer in the Women’s Super League before captaining the Great Britain university team at the World University Games. While working on obtaining her UEFA B coaching qualification, Maddie spent time as a physiotherapist with Newcastle United F.C. She also played professional soccer in Italy and Scotland before returning to join our staff.

Her experience of being a professional athlete, as well as working as a physiotherapist in these environments is something unique that she offers to the clinic and patients, especially young aspiring athletes. Kings Cross is excited to put Maddie’s multi-faceted talents to good use.
